Operating Procedures

Experiments in post-genomic epidemiology increasingly rely on resources held in different biobanks. This requires interoperability between biobanks.

 

We are therefore making available some recent  Standard Operating Procedures used in the UK DNA Banking Network biobank. You may download the SOPs for:

 
Extraction of DNA from blood samples
 
Extraction of DNA from saliva samples

DNA concentration estimation and standardisation

Withdrawal of aliquots of DNA samples
